Gas heat pump as an all-in package |
At ISH 2011, Buderus will present the new Logatherm GWPL air/water gas heat pump as an all-in system comprising gas condensing boiler, hot water storage tank, buffer tank and matching control for medium and large plants.
|
Everything from a single source – this is the new Logatherm GWPL gas heat pump system from Bosch Thermotechnology. Displayed the first time at ISH 2011, this bivalent system for medium and larger plants will be available from autumn 2011. Buderus has developed Logatherm GWPL especially for use in medium-sized and large buildings, schools, administrative buildings, multi-family houses and industrial buildings. The system, which comprises an air/water gas heat pump, a gas condensing boiler, a hot water storage tank, a buffer tank and a matching control, is suitable for new buildings and for the refurbishment of existing buildings.
A special feature of the system is the joint control of all components for optimum system integration. The modulating gas absorption heat pump and the gas condensing boiler are controlled by the tried-and-tested Buderus Logamatic 4000 control system, which facilitates environmentally compatible operation at all times. In combination with a solar thermal system, the new system uses even less primary energy. The buffer bypass switch, with which professional heating engineers are well familiar, makes the hydraulic integration extremely easy.
For a heat pump, the new system offers a high flow temperature of 65 °C for the heating and up to 70 °C for domestic water heating. The air/water gas heat pump with an output of approx. 40 kW (A2/W35) is ideal for bivalent systems including a gas condensing boiler as well as for monovalent systems. For higher requirements, Buderus offers a cascade solution, where the gas heat pump system has an output of up to 120 kW. In combination with a gas condensing boiler, this enables the operation of plants of up to 500 kW.
