Apps make work easier |
Buderus apps facilitate the dimensioning of heaters and provide access to spare parts information
|
Buderus, a Bosch Thermotechnology brand, has developed two apps for the iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPadTM that make everyday work easier for heating engineers. The “EasyPlan” app makes it easy to choose the right dimensions and settings for heaters, while the “EasyScan” app provides quick access to spare parts information, for instance when servicing heating systems. The apps are available in the Apple App Store. They are self-explanatory, easy to operate and offer a number of useful functions.
The “EasyPlan” app makes it easy for heating engineers to find the right heater types and dimensions for each specific requirement. All they need to do is enter the required output, flow and return flow temperature via the menu-based user interface. The list of results then shows all suitable heater types. In addition, the “EasyPlan” app facilitates the hydraulic calibration. The required valve setting can easily be determined for the heater type chosen.
The “EasyScan” app from Buderus grants quick access to spare parts information. All the user needs to do is read the barcode on the packagings of the spare parts or enter their article numbers on their iPhone®. They will then immediately be provided with up-to-date spare parts information such as prices, photos or instructions for use. This helps save precious time, as it often obviates the need to leaf through spare parts catalogues or call the technical helpdesk or a branch office.
More Buderus apps for heating engineers and end users are underway. Between March 15 and 19, Buderus will present these and other innovations at ISH 2011 in Frankfurt on Stand A 30 in Hall 8.0.
